DNS Course Descriptions
DNS Movement Flow & Flexibility
The DNS Movement Flow course is designed to expand upon the foundational knowledge acquired in the DNS Clinical and DNS Exercise courses.
The aim is to present developmental milestones in functional units, focusing on smooth transitions from one position to another. These units are then integrated to form a structured sequence of developmental exercises.
This movement strategy is rooted in our early motor development, where body segments and associated muscle groups are progressively coordinated into more refined muscle synergies, supporting the acquisition of new movement skills.
Participants will gradually progress through increasingly complex positions and postural tasks. These tasks stimulate various types of muscle fibers, with the direction and control of movement determining specific functional outcomes.
Slow, deliberate transitions enhance cortical control of movement and foster precise body awareness.
Course Objectives and Features:
Apply DNS principles to promote optimal movement efficiency
Learn and practice each developmental position with guidance
Use each position as an individual self-exercise
Practice transitions between positions in a full-sequence group format
Explore undifferentiated variations
Introduce differentiated variations for advanced progression
